If they prove he is guilty, I think he should be put to death immediately. Imagine, a 2 month old baby with more than 20 fractures and even his legs broken! Just typing this causes me a lot of anger!
QUOTE WEST VALLEY CITY - A 26-year-old father has been arrested and charged after doctors found his 2-month-old son suffered from 20 fractures in various stages of healing, including 14 fractures in his rib cage.
Investigators believe the infant's injuries happened on Jan. 19, but the boy's father did not take him to the hospital until a week or more later, said West Valley Police Sgt. Mike Powell.
The boy was not responsive when he arrived at the hospital, Powell said. In addition to his ribs, doctors also found the infant suffered from broken legs.
The father initially told police his son had fallen. Investigators believe the child may have been violently shaken, Powell said.
Win Zaw Nai was charged Wednesday with three counts of intentionally inflicting serious injury on a child, a second degree felony.
The child has since been released from the hospital....
