Page 19 Escort camp

Oh boy now we're in a pickle.I had a feeling about this room.(note to self:rooms with dead bodies in them usually have a creature inside that killed the body)
Now lets see what we can do to save alex,then ourselves.
Whatever we do it will cause noise throughout the corridor so while in battle,be aware of other creatures coming to see whats going on.
Alex is not dead,so maybe we can lure the spiders out of the room and into the larger room(giving us a little more fighting room)of course this means alex will be alone for a time.(I dont like that)
OR we can mow through the door way and circle the spiders(light an extra torch to wave around)and hopefully defeat them outright.But we do'nt know what else is in the room either.I hope you guys have some better ideas for this one 'cause it will be a challenge(our first creatures WO HOO!)(Not a Dragon though ).
I will check back later to see what you guys think.

Escort camp

LaReina could hand over the torch to me so that she can wield her sword, and I could try whacking the one on Alex with the torch -- are spiders afraid of fire? If that does nothing, use your swords, dear Warriors. I'm afraid I'd have to get too close to use my dagger.... If we can get the spider off of Alex, we need to drag him out of the room, and be careful not to touch the sticky stuff he's already got on him.

sorry my husband took me out for valentines day and since i didn't have to work the next day we stayed out later so i'm so sorry folks. anywho i think that we shouldn't leave alex alone. I agree with Kettle that I should hand the torch to her and she should wap it and stab at it with her dagger if she gets close enough with alex kicking and punching at it they should be able to hold it off long enough for Heric and I to be able to kill the first spider and then help kill the next spider that's trying to kill alex. i also think that after we're done we should quickly scan the ceiling and drag alex out of there and be more aware of our sourroundings and who has the torch and stuff.

Looking at the others Reina shouts, "We have to get that monster off of him." Running towards Alex another spider drops down and Reina pulls out her short sword and starts to strike it in the face. Handing Kettle the torch, "here help alex, Heric help me kill this one, then we can help Kettle and alex." Reina keeps striking the Spider waiting for the others to join in the fight.

LaReina is already wielding her short sword, so she can fight with the torch on hand. We can try this: 2 of you will knock off one of the spiders, and 1 will help me out. The one that's attacking me will try to kill me, so it can't be lured out off the room.

Heric could attack the one that's attacking me while LaReina and Kettle attack the other one.

Meanwhile I can try to stab the one on my back with my dagger.

Let's see it from the good side: If I die you can at least get my stuff

Yes if Lareina kept the torch and used her short sword(Wave that torch in the spiders face,He will back up,)to get the spider off alex.Then alex could get to his feet,with a little help from Kettle,and we can get alex out of the room,he may also require some meds..Meanwhile Lareina and I could work on the 2 of them.
I have a long sword so I can go for the spider that is'nt on alex and keep it away from him,also to give Lareina a chance to back the other spider up(to free alex).
We should be careful using the thieves for combat(directly)which is why kettle should help get alex free,and the 2 of them can guard the hall.

I am not worried about killing these creatures,that's the easy part ,I'm worried about alex,and the goo he is stuck in.He is weak and will not be able to free himself without help.
Anyway,I will attack wherever you need me to.We need a party order soon.
I will check back later.Dont forget about other monsters hearing our noise.

I think the body we just found and the blood in the other room(with the picture on hte floor)are reminants of the first 'escort' to leave the village,so who or whatever is down here may still be busy with remaining survivors.....................Just a thought.
