::after brushing the horse down with some coarse grass (makes a note to pick up a curry brush soon) begins saddling the horse, reaching into a sack of oats for a little handful as a treat for the animal as they get to know each other...the horse seems friendly, calm and steady, and does not fidget or sidle away as she adjusts the cinch straps comfortably under its belly. Kettle decides to keep most of her possessions in her backpack, but stows the torches behind the saddle. The flint goes in her backpack. Oats and leather feedbag are packed into the saddlebags. Her leather armor, she slips over her tunic and refastens her cloak about her shoulders...she really misses that sapphire clasp, and hopes the horse is a good investment. She makes a note to decide who gets the horse should she leave this world suddenly...:::

Who will ride, and who will drive? Our stated party order is Alex and LaReina "in the lead." So either one could be up front with the teamster. LaReina is a warrior, and it might be better for her to be up front, on top of the big carriage as she'll be able to see farther and react quickly. If Heric, the other warrior, rides the horse, that leaves 2 thieves on the little wagon. (If I'd known about the wagon, I never would have bought a horse...! A better investment would have been bow and arrows...)

Who knows how to drive a wagon and team of horses? Let's hope they are a matched pair, and not a couple of culls...

Probably LaReina could react faster if she was with the teamster, and so could Heric in the horse. Or Heric and Alex could stay in the wagon, with Alex steering the horses and Heric being ready to jump off and attack quickly.

About the questions, we could ask if the man knows any place where an attack would be more likely to happen.

okay i have one ration and no water. that was very silly of me to do, but hopefully i'll survive. i'm so sorry for the ill planning. so if dark agent will trade with me in the game some food or water for herbs that'll be cool. anywho i'll ride upfront with the team then, because something about seeing farther and reacting faster. i hope my input was helpful.

Well,I think LaReina could serve best riding a wagon since she has a bow and could strike any enemies from a distance,I will drive the second wagon,and kettle could ride her horse(if we have to we could tie your horse to one of the wagons.)but if you can ride then I would.I dont think it matters who rides the horse,really,just stay close to the wagons,untill something looks suspisious,then the rider could 'challenge'whoever comes our way.With arrows 'at the ready'for backup.

I dont trust any info that the Gm has the ability to offer through NPC's, we could ask anyway,but I have a "funny" feeling about this escort thing,so lets be very wary.The things the old man said may yet have some meaning.

I guess we are going to see how good a trapper you are, J.K.I'm sure there is a way we can share items in game(if not what sense would that make).
I believe I have enough food and water to share if it comes to that.I think on the way back(if not on some harried mission)we could hunt for food,and stock up.

When he is satisfied everything is secure,he jumps to the second wagon and begins to get a feel for being a teamster. "Come on,lets find our fate"Heric says with a look of excitment on his face.
