A 17-year-old Laventille teenager was shot dead while liming with friends near his Plaisance Terrace, John John home yesterday. He has been identified by police as Jevon Cox.
According to police, around 1.35 p.m. Cox was liming with friends near Building Four, Plaisance Terrace, when unknown assailants approached. The group of limers ran in different directions and the gunmen fired several shots at Cox, hitting him about the body.
