Thump, thump, thump. Nathan could hear distinctly every single pulsation of his heart. At every heartbeat, the wound on his head was sending piercing streams of pain to his nerves. He could hear the voices of people talking around him but he could not make any sense out of them. Sounds and images were confused, like it happens to people swimming underwater. "If I feel pain it means I'm alive", was his first coherent thought. Nathan closed his eyes, trying to withstand wave after wave of pain. Thump.. Thump.. Thump...

Uhura annoyingly responds to Major. She continues to attend to Nathan and then goes over to the other man to see if she can help him also.
Specific Action: Examine the other man to see if he can be saved. If not perform an autopsy.
