Just saw Pirates of the Caribbean for the first time, and it was ok. The special effects were great, but there are a lot of movies out there with great special effects. Johnny Depp's character was enjoyable, but the storyline was a bit too much. I loved the movie. Even with the many potholes in the story Johnny Depp's character made up for it. Its a movie worth seeing once or twice; however, the sequal will not be nearly as good.
