Out of Character: Looks like we will search each cave one at a time. Meantime while you watch the horses you can also act as lookout so if anything does come from the other cave you can let us know. Posting party order now.
"Am I a magician?", wondered Tanar while watching his new companions approaching the caves. That's what the girl said. "Why they don't understand that thieves and warriors are more useful?". Tanar was not sure about who she intended with "They" (did that unconventional woman dare to challenge the gods themselves?!). But he knew he was not brave or strong enough to be a warrior and he didn't want to be a thief. Thieves are scoundrels, he thought, worth of ending up in a jail: like that Billy Merwin that stole the fat pig from Old Jenkins few years ago. No. He had no other choice: he would become a Magician! Or die in the effort.
Lady Godiva bought most everything that any adventurer would dream of having yet she had no torch. She sheepishly turns to John and asks him to light up his lantern so she could proceed in.
Specific Action: Explorer cautiously after John lights his lantern.
In Character: John turns his head to Lady Godiva and nods to her in agreement. So he light up his lantern and enter the cave.
Out of Character: I will deplete one flask of oil to light up the lantern.
Specific Action: Light up the lantern by using one flask of oil and enter the secret entrance.
Lady Godiva says a soft, "Thank you" to John as she continues her exploring the cave, but she says under the breath, "Too bad there isn't a thief to survey the area first...".
Not wanting to get involved in any battles between the party thief and a female warrior Dante just keeps his mouth shut and watches John light the lantern.
