Simon Cowell wants to meet her, the Jonas brothers sang her song, Lady Gaga says she is a genius, her music video "Friday" has 29 million views on YouTube and climbs the pop charts and is now above Justin Bieber in the itunes singles chart.
But wait, the popularity isn't about how well she sings but how cheesy her voice and video are however, it landed her with instant fame.
If I knew beforehand that I could sing a ridiculous song and become famous then I would have done it a long time ago. Its amazing what pre-teens and young teens believe is entertainment these days.
This is something I REALLY don't get with Americans and fame, is there are many singers who sing ridiculous songs and they get famous and money for that! Rebecca Black is defiantly one of them! When I heard her singing a song called "Friday" she sings in such a boring tone that irritates me a lot!
Felipe you're right about that. It's nothing but having someone to market you. In this case she had some support, had a goal and fulfilled it via social media, can't really blame her for that.
