Supreme Court rules against 'straw purchasers' of guns
The Supreme Court dealt a rare blow to the gun lobby Monday by ruling that purchasers must report when they are buying firearms for other people. Ref. USAToday
Purchasing a gun for another can be highly questionable in my mind. If the person is not able to buy a gun then there may be a good reason for it. I will not buy anyone a gun even my own kids. When they are old enough they can prove that they are able to buy their own guns if they so chose.
While controlling guns may help it will not control the amount of guns out there already nor the access to them. It will just cost more but it won't be difficult to get.

I don't know if amending gun laws will prevent home based terrorist attacks because there are so many guns out there in the public. Everyone has always known America's right to bear arms to change that now will not change the thinking.
