Comcast To Buy Out Disney?

What do you think, will Disney give in? It seems like Comcast wants to make another AOL/Time Warner monopoly! I hope Disney stays independent really.

Disney Buy Comcast

yeah this is a huge story in Wall St and London, they really kept this one under wraps

to be honest, Disney has gone to crap in recent years. This could be a good thing for Disney, especially if Eisner is giving the can, which would be likely

yuo certainly won't hear any complaints from Disney workers. Everyone will tell yuo that Eisner runs the place like a terrorist training camp. Fantastically harsh working conditions, sneaky backstabbing contracts with talent, and he's so underhanded and shifty that ROY DISNEY resigned in protest. That's gotta tell yuo something about the guy

Eisner's regime was resulting in crappy products. Low moral = crappy product. The only decent movies released lately have been Pixar's, and now they have announced the end of their relationship. WAY TO GO PIXAR!!! thumb.gif

Comcast To Buy Out Disney? History & Civil Business Politics

I absolutely agree. Disney has deteriorated so much. When they began collaborating with Pixar, their movies became almost as good as they were originally. I noticed even the Lion King sequel is more like watching the Simpson's. It may even be funny, but it's potty humor for adolescents. I assume the Lion King was aiming for younger kids and their parents.
It was so sad to see Roy Disney walk away. I had hoped the people at Disney would have gotten the hint. Maybe they've been in Fantasyland way too long.

DISNEY'S MERGER WITH PIXAR DOUBTED

The more time that passes without a new distribution deal between The Walt Disney Co. and Pixar Animation Studios, the greater the speculation, including a theory that Disney is angling to buy Pixar and install its chief executive, Steve Jobs, as Disney's chairman.
