I was never good at math. I flunked pre-algebra twice. Some time later I took a advanced math class in college and got a B+.

The only way I did it was studying, studying, studying. I spent many hours just going over the equations. It took a lot of effort but I got a decent grade.

For me just hardcore study was the key. Immersing myself in the language of it opened up something for me.
