How Do People Chose Their Christmas Decorations?

Comments: How do people decide what kind of Christmas decorations they will use? Is it psychological, spiritual, symbolic or just whatever goes? I ask because there are people who will only use a certain kind of decoration and then others who just buy anything that is eye candy. It is supposed to be a religious festival and I'm not Christian so I will like to understand it.

I think it depends on the person or family. There isn't any specifications of what kind of decorations you should buy to celebrate Christmas. For spiritual reasons I know some people refuse to put up Santa Claus because they say it robs Christmas from Jesus. I guess its just how you look at it.
