Police said around 9.30 p.m. On Friday, Williams and a friend were in Trou Macaque when several gunshots were heard. Williams was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head, while the other man, age 37, was nursing gunshot wounds.
The other victim was taken to the Port of Spain General Hospital where he remains warded in a stable condition. Five spent shells were recovered at the scene.
