If its only 10 pounds then it might be tough because the last bit of weight is the hardest to lose but you can try just eating some fruits and cut down your calories to half what you need for the day and then exercise like crazy especially aerobic type exercise. Check with your doctor first though I don't know what your health factors are right now.
