Lakeside man arrested on suspicion of murder
Timothy Danielson, 63, remained under guard at a hospital after reportedly trying to kill himself; a woman's body was found Monday in his home. He achieved athletic fame in 1966 when he became the second U.S. high-schooler to run the mile in under four minutes. Ref. Source 4

Lakeside man pleads not guilty in ex-wife's slaying
A 63-year-old man pleaded not guilty Thursday to fatally shooting his ex-wife in the Lakeside home they were sharing. Timothy Ralph Danielson is charged with murdering Ming Qi, 48, during an argument over her dating someone else, a prosecutor said. Ref. Source 9
