I don't think we should agree to pay the doctor. Why not say something like, Ice says, "listen, we agreed to give you the first 15 gp and told you our friend here would have to pay the rest, if he lived. You agreed. We are no kin to him. We barely knew him. If you want to collect, you will need to find his family and see if they will pay you. As for his remains, do with them what you will. As I have said, he isn't any kin to us."

Of course, we have kept his stuff, but I don't think I have a problem with that either. Life was tough in those days. I consider it payment for all the effort we went through to try and save his life.

Althea might want to offer to pay for the doctor to treat her wounds. We could use Sokei's money for this purpose.

Then let's go to the Tavern, eat and inquire about jobs. What qualifications do we need to serve food? I think we might be able to handle it.
