My theory is based upon what I like to call the 'Purple Sky Experiment'.
Imagine if we could convince every human on the planet that the sky is purple.
Would the sky then be purple because we believe it to be so? Or, would it actually become purple because of our belief and a latent ability that resides in all of us to slightly modify reality?
Do the signs and sightings of Bigfoot exist because he is real, or do enough people believe in the existence of Bigfoot to conjure it into reality?
Searching for Bigfoot is serious business. There is actually the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization just for the purpose of finding Bigfoot.

John R. Salmond plans to head to a remote corner of northeastern Utah this weekend in search of a legend. Salmond, 44, is a new member of the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization, which plans to explore the Ashley National Forest near the Utah-Wyoming border this Thursday through Monday looking for elusive Bigfoot evidence. Founded in 1995, BFRO claims to be the only scientific organization dedicated to finding Bigfoot. Ref. Source 4 |
I believe that there is a big foot out there and soon or later we will actually find him and make contact. I think that he is a creature that is very smart and cunning. The fact that we have not found him yet is beyond me. I think given time we will find the secret out.

Comments: Big Foot, interesting, I thought of this way before I learned that [this is] a theory, makes you wonder, especially when no one has spoken with one.
I don't think that there is a creature out there like Bigfoot. It is a great and wonderful idea but if they have been searching for so long then why is it they have no proof of the existence of such a creature.
Or to my knowledge they have no cold hard proof.
Well yes I do agree it is possible, however the length of time the myths have been going for and the ability to record images on small hand held devices today I would think it will be unlikely.
However being possible is a great thought.

Comments: This is one of those lasting myths, an urban legend if you want to call it that. Each country has their own version of what he is called and what he looks like. This is the same as asking are dragons real? No, there isn't any dragons just as there isn't any Bigfoot.
