Reason For Everything

I've heard it, said it, and I believe it too. I think God won't put more on you than you can bear. I also believe that we are tested everyday. Our path could very well be mapped out for us already. So take your learning experiences from the bad and your good memories from the good and keep on ticking. My faith tells me as long as I do what is right then I have nothing to worry about.

Everything Happens For A Reason? Beliefs Religious General

I believe that everything happens for a reason as well. But I don't think its in the same fashion as most of the responses here. I believe that everything that happens is the effect of some action by yourself or someone else. Even if you cant see it, someone did something to cause it. You rarely see what the cause of your cancer is, but you always see the effect. Like in the Matrix, all I see is causality. Cause and effect. If you can find the cause, you can eliminate the effect. Even taking into account the belief in God, life is still a series of dominoes in which we all are waiting for the next domino in the chain reaction to see what happens next. Even if God answers your pray, it has a cause and effect. Something happened, that caused something bad to happen, that caused you to pray, that caused God to answer your prayer, that caused your good fortune. That in turn has an effect on someone else in someway, even if it just means that you walk by someone and say Hi and give them a good feeling that they pass on. Life is one huge domino game that never ends, no matter what culture, religion, or beliefs you hold. Their is only one constant, causality. (Thanks to the Meril Vingin for my enlightenment!).
