Miniatures Vs. Imagination

Name: Max
Country:

Comments: We've been playing D&D for a couple of years now and have been using our imagination to picture where everyone was and other objects in the game. One our club members came about the brilliant idea to have miniatures to show where we are on a boxed map. At first it was a bi weird for me but I got used to it and think that I like it so much that I would miss miniatures if I had to go back to just using my imagination.

Imagination Vs Miniatures

I can do both but I'll be the first to admit that the right miniatures are cool but if you don't have the right ones then it makes it worst than playing without it.

We have never used miniatures but I have seen others use it and it does look cool but I agree that you want the right piece to play with. I've seen people just take the Sorry pawns and use them as miniatures just for the sake of saying where you are in a room or whatever.
