How come most of the Western world is Christian? I wonder what would have happened if most of the countries in the Americas were Muslim or Buddhists or something different to Christianity?

The Western world is MOSTLY Christian because of the invasion of the Conquistadors and their forcing Christianity on slaves, natives and settlers. I've never thought about Islam being the predominant religion in this region that would make things very different.
