School 'bullied' parents over iPads
A parent of a pupil at Orewa College says Christmas will have to be cancelled in her household if the school continues to push forward with plans to make expensive tablet devices compulsory for junior pupils. Ref. Source 8

That would be so cool for my parents to have to get me a tablet for school but realistically its way too much to ask because I can think of some in my class that can barely afford proper sneakers.
