Ice and Ariadne pay for Thorian and Airmed to attend the main event, despite her 'riches' Ariadne does so hesitantly having been accustomed to not imparting to anyone but herself. The warriors, Ice and Ariadne, watch the crowd and the circus workers around the seating areas looking for suspicious activity, but see nothing unusual. |
O.K. But how come we didn't buy tickets for ourselves. I guess you have easy access to him, so if you say he isn't confused, I guess you should know.
I think Ice and Adriadne should just remain around the stands area. I think it is good for Ariadne to do as LDS suggested looking for gas holes or machinery, etc. Maybe I should stay put so that we don't miss anything. I could keep an eye out here while you checked stuff out. However, maybe we should stick together. Probably not much going to happen out front where everyone is and we would be safer together.
**Airmed takes a few deep breaths and stretches in various directions for a few moments while collecting her thoughts**
If 'tis all the same to thee, I shall wish to enter the performance tent early, well before the crowds arrive. I wish to examine the stage area in particular. Perchance there might be a prop or two on the stage that may yield some clues. I shall try to sit fairly close to the stage during the performance, keeping a keen eye especially on the magician's gestures for signs of sleight-of-hand and other such common deceptions. I shall avoid looking directly into his eyes, as to fend off any possible attempts at hypnotism.
I pray that my partner, Thorian, pays more attention to our most urgent task of observing the show, rather than the lasses. If we come away unaffected from the performance, there shall be plenty of pockets to pick as we follow the exiting crowd. Besides, any thief worth his salt knows that it be the menfolk who generally carry more money in public.

A plan is formulated to be executed near sundown when the Circus is about to start. |
OOC: Just to check, Eissa is with Althea, right? I'm writing as if she was. Incidentally, I'm referring to tent E.
Eissa smiles softly, her face no longer a bright red but now a more subdued flush. It seems that she's not ever going to get rid of the habit, but in the fast darkening light the blush is less obvious and her pale skin seems eerily white. Her fingers twitch as she watches the people around her. So many purses, so many pockets, just a quick swish of her dagger and then-
Shaking her head to bring herself back to the present, she looks again at Althea, wondering not for the first time what the other thief's motive in this is. "Perhaps we should examine that tent, you know, the one between the dogs, the games and the bar?" If Althea were not around, Eissa would be appearing to talk to her self, she speaks so softly. "It seems... rich. I don't know, what with all the trimmings and such."
Blinking a few times to adjust herself to the surroundings around, her, Eissa looks again to Althea to confirmation. "How about it?" she questions. "Even if we do not find magic items, we may be able to find, you know, other items of value." Money, she means. The emptiness of her purse weighs heavily on her soul, and she feels rather like a traitor to her profession.
