Well, Althea and Eissa need to decide what they are going to say to the Magician, he seems really mad.
Tena, what do you think we should do now?.We are outside the tent faking a fight and inside Althea and Eissa are in trouble with the Magician.
OOC: So, Airmed is in the performance tent, planning to sit close to the stage. Does she see anything interesting/odd in the way of props or other items?
IC: **After making a quick sweep of the tent's interior, Airmed removes her backpack and takes a seat in the center of the third row. She checks to make sure the pack is securely closed, and places it on the floor between her feet. Feeling a tad uneasy, she reaches as if to wrap her cloak about her, then remembers it is in her backpack. She glances around and spots Thorian querying those nearby.**
Airmed says to herself under her breath, "That lad had best not foul this mission."
I think Ice and Ariadne have two options really as pertains to Althea and Eissa.
Either Althea and Eissa can act like nothing is strange about them being in the tent and just immiediately strike up a professional conversation with the magician in the tent or Ice and Ariadne can move their fight to the tent. I mean one of us could push the other into the side of the tent and we roll under it fighting which will cause another distraction in the tent. Or if we are near the entrance we push into the tent through the entrance. Of course the difficulty here is how did we know what was inside.
We should have expected people inside so we could use that as reasoning for making our fight move inside the tent.
If we don't move our fight into the tent, Althea and Eissa should use the time they do have in the tent looking around even while they are trying to explain their presence. I realize they won't be able to move around, but their eyes can.
I think at the very least, as they are trying to explain their presence they should delay their exit. You know, praise the woman on how she is dressed. Pick something they see in the tent and mention it. Tell her how you have heard great things about her show and just HAD to meet her. That sort of thing.
OOC: Ah... I am probably going to ruin all the planning by saying this, but I've gone a little too far to take Eissa out of character and have her actually act intelligent. So, ah, sorry if this upsets anyone. I'll try to incorporate your suggestions, but I can't say this'll turn out well. Er, could I also point out that we don't know if this man actually is the magician. He could be anyone else, actually.
IC: Eissa froze. "Opps," she muttered. Only she had meant for that word to be muttered, but it echoed round the tent (were words supposed to echo in tents?) and bounced back to her. "Opps," she muttered again, just a little softer, before an amazingly cherry smile pasted itself on to her face.
"My," she remarked to nothing in particular, "it's, ah, wonderfully drafty outside, isn't it?" Eissa's eyes, as always, were darting around the surroundings, mindful to alight on anything of interest (many of these things) and keeping well away from the man and the woman. "Er, and the wind is, ah, rather, drafty? Strong? Blown us in? Yes! Er, we were blown in by the wind. I, ah, think."
She wondered briefly if the fervent blush on her face was showing in the dim lighting, then decided that she coudn't be bothered to find out. What she did know was that her face was bright red again, and emitting heat like... like something that emits a lot of heat, her feeble brain shot back. "Er, that's, um, a very nice outfit you have, Miss. Er, Miss? Er, never mind that..." Her foot was tracing out patterns in the ground as Eissa shifted from side to side, hand darting automatically to her dagger. Althea's turn, she thought. I doubt I'll help here.
First of all if you look at the stats for your Eissa you will see that her mind is a 12. This means she is actually very bright. In addition, no stupid thief would survive very long. So, perhaps she has just been playing stupid. In that case, it is time to stop playing stupid. Know what I mean?
Tena, I think by Ice and Ariadne getting into the tent may cause more trouble Maybe the two who are inside the tent can act up like 'fans' you know, if the guy is the magician maybe they can fake saying they love his show and they were so excited to meet him and start flattering him, if the guy has a lot of power, I'm sure he also has a big ego. Maybe one of them can feed that 'ego' while the other quickly moves around and observing what is inside the tent.
Ice and Ariadne can continue 'fighting' and maybe start saying mean things about each other, we can fake we are fighting for a man, I assume the guards are men and they love to see women fighting. What do you think?.
All ideas about the two thieves in the tent seem good to me.
Now I don't have a clue what to ask about the future, so do you guys have any ideas?
