OOC: Sorry, I'll try to be better about posting.

IC:
*Eye's dart around suspiciously, wondering if anyone else notices this fat pile of gold ripe for the picking. Or if anyone notices that Thorian is about to 'liberate' some of that gold*

Thorian waits for the right moment, then attempts to pocket some of the gold.

Circus camp

IC: "Ariadne looks at the guards smiling and she smiles back but soon she gets serious as she wants to let them know she is feeling sick, she touches her tummy as it is hurting her. The gas has not reach her as yet so she knows she has to act quick...as she approaches the guards, she starts making body movements as she is feeling sick and wants to vomit....She covers her nose and mouth and looking at the guards she points with one of her fingers, the outside part of the tent as she letting them know she needs to get out of there. She feels that maybe they will not let her go just so, so she turns her body quickly without the guards notice it, put one of his fingers on his throat to induce the vomit, turns her body again and vomit in the guard's boots!!!! She knows they will get so mad, they will put her out right away"

IC: Ice speaks up after Ariadne throws up and says: "Can't you see my friend is sick. You need to let us pass, I believe she may have the grippe since some of our comrades died from it recently. Unless of course, you are not afraid of the grippe" **Ice says this as she puts her arms around Ariadne's shoulders and pushes her way towards the exit. Ice has no intention of stopping. She will continue to move until she is somehow forcibly stopped.**

Page 31 Circus camp

OOC: As Airmed is supposed to be carefully observing the performance, she should probably not be the one to volunteer for the act.

IC: Airmed, having been "under the influence" of various substances before, notices the sweetness of the blue smoke's aroma, and begins to feel slightly light-headed. She quickly triple-folds the edge of her cloak and returns it securely over her nose and mouth, praying that no further effects shall be experienced. A little light-headedness she could handle, and the sense of mild relaxation might not be such an unwelcome thing. But she came here for a specific purpose: to try to ascertain the true nature of the intent of this spectacle. She silently chides herself for underestimating the degree of trickery to which this audience was vulnerable. Determined to learn any new information, she re-focuses her attention to the performance.

Circus camp

I think it is important for some of us to be outside the tent. As you can see from my post, I plan to get out of the tent. Ariadne is coming with me. I think if we get out, we need to look around and see what is going on outside while this is all going on inside. Also, we probably need someone to be checking out the other tents while this is going on. Who didn't go to the show? I didn't think we bought tickets for everyone.

Tena, I think you're right -- not everyone bought a ticket, but we all got ushered into the arena tent D when the show started -- seems anyone around the gaming etc was just herded along with everyone else. Guess they don't care so much about ticket sales when they're going to fleece you anyway

Althea and Eissa did not buy tickets, nor did Shade or Wimplo.

Hey, maybe we can volunteer Shade for whatever stunt they're planning Naw, that's not nice when he's not here.

Any volunteers? It's Althea, Eissa, or Thorian. Airmed will concentrate on the activity, and Ice and Ariadne are heading out.

Althea will volunteer if none others wish to. It might be kind of interesting to see what they are doing inside the big box, or what they expect from a volunteer.

No. If Althea dies, someone else will have to take over that role. I don't want it! She does an excellent job. We could all refuse to volunteer, but then I don't know how the story will proceed it we do. I can tell you, even if Ice weren't leaving the tent, that is not a task I would be willng to take on. However, it could be a harmless diversion as well.
