, I don't think I could truly class this as a hobby, although it might be something that many of us enjoy doing.

I know many will say that it could be classed as a hobby, because it's something you can enjoy doing in your spare time, but I know personally on my job application I wouldn't like to see under hobbies- 'sleeping', whether I be the job seeker, or the potential employer!

No Sleep is not a hobby. Something your body needs to recover its energy is not a hobby. Now if sleep was not something every body needed then yes you probably could say it was a hobby.

Yeah but some people sleep beyond what their body needs to recover. Plus there are some people that are like pro sleepers, a train could pass and they won't get up for nothing. Thats talent I wish I had!

While I enjoy eating I do not find it a hobby. I can see how some people can view it as a hobby. . Others just like to take sleeping and eating as a way to get to others. Especially if you know you have a talent for helping one sleep or want to eat.

Sleeping deep is not a hobby it is a sign of a healthy person. I might add I do enjoy it thought 8 hours is the max I ever sleep at once. Perhaps the deepness of my sleep is why. A hobby well why not see how many strange place you can mange to get a good sleep at. For the record I am an awesome sleeper hit the sheet and I am there...unless I am listening for a sick child in the night.

Eating is a great hobby I enjoy it as well as cooking. I feel it is a hobby as one can seek sooo many new things to try! Gluttony however is a sin.

Beowolf what you are hinting at does set off alarms for me as sleeping disorders are so rarely diagnosed though all to real. Are you hinting that once asleep you are easily disturbed or wake feeling unrested? If so that is very serious!
