Weird Or Unusual Holidays?

Sometimes a holiday will be declared for the most unusual things, if you know of one please list it here along with the reason for the holiday. Holidays at a National level only - not what you may get from work as a 'holiday'.

I heard on the radio just the other day that it was national sausage and pepporoni pizza day. The reason for it was not stated however.
