In Laventille, tempers were fiery yesterday afternoon because among the three men killed, one of them, Nicholas Roberts, a Public Transport Service Corporation (PTSC) bus driver was also known as the area's, "saltfish". He was shot dead just as he was about to clear some bush around his mother's home in Picton Road, Laventille.

Comments: His name was Jude Nicholas Robertson and he was the best person anyone could have known. The word DRUG was the only way to describe him. If you had any ailment he could cure it. If you tasted him in any way you were hooked. If you decided to go to rehab the withdrawal symptoms were unbearable and you had to go back to him. No matter your relationship with him you just had to love him. Then some selfish person or persons not thinking about how other persons lives would be affected took a gun and shot him in the chest at point blank range, damaging all his vital organs. This one act raped, robbed, and plundered his family and friends. It was like a hurricane, tsunami, earthquake and every other natural disaster that you could imagine struck his family and friends. Today we are left totally shattered still not knowing how to put the pieces of our lives back together. But we know that there is a God and he saw and he knows and justice will come in His time and His way. To my dear brother we all love you may you Rest In Peace. To his murderers we forgive you and we hope that the Lord has mercy on your soul or souls. God bless.

Comments: it has been more than a year since his life was taken away so tragically. his family still mourns and are still finding difficulty coming to terms with the fact that he is gone. No one has been held in connection with his murder. We will continue to pray that justice will be done and his murderers will be caught and dealt with one way or another.
