This is four blocks or so from the safe house I used to live in when I was deployed to Afghanistan. It's a really a nice part of town. It's just too bad there are evil people there who prefer to kill than talk, want to force their views on others, and want to turn women into chattel again. I hope they can find their way out of this quagmire but I fear they can't.
