https://www.1837online.com, is provided by Great Britain's General Register
Office, which is responsible for registering births, deaths, and marriages in
Britain and abroad. Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints have entered much of the data in the 12,000 parish registers in
England and Wales for free.

My Mother-in law used this site to find records of her Brother who was killed in the First world war.
For years, there had been no knowledge as to where he was buried in France, but once she received this information, it opened up a lot more of the missing information for her.

Although my Mother-in-law couldn't travel to France to visit her Brother's grave, my Son was going to France on a history trip, and he was able to visit the grave with the information that had been provided. He managed to take a photograph of the grave for her too.

It has been very much appreciated in our family all the hard work, time and devotion that others have given to provide this very valuable information for others to access.
