The $4 million-a-year salary offered to the University of Alabama's new football coach has some questioning the priorities in a poor state that often ranks near the bottom nationally for education.

It is not just Alabama. However, they are now top of the list! While there are a few schools noted for fine eductions, note the list of what I would call party schools for the most part.

On average, 1 million a year for a educator. If any of these guys actually teaches a class, I would be shocked! So what are they buying with their million dollars? Hopefully, more rearends in seats and a nice tidy profit. Or as the US Government once called them...a surplus!
