Been far too long from here but I'm back. Will try to get on every morning.
The boys are older now one is looking forward to military life hoping to be a pilot. He hopes to get into search and rescue little scary being dad but we must trust in God. I have military people in my family for generations and luckily they all have returned home including the two great wars. I hope this continues.
On the home front I am trying to get my bathroom rebuilt but have been plagued with colds either me or one of the family which is slowing us down. I am grateful though my wife is filled with grace and is not upset by this.
As far as Christmas goes we are all set and ready reading bible stories to my 12 year old while my 16 rolls his eyes. He has had an adventurous year. It seems 16 still does mean I am ready to do what I think is right but still lacking wisdom. He chose a girl who was ill suited and it cost him marks and almost being evicted from home. After a few weeks away at Grandmas with the promise he will not re-enter my home he quickly seen the web of lies and deceit the girl had sun on him and now things are much better. He now talks more and has found a nice girl and they are taking it slow.
I just hope our youngest has learned from this as well and not how to hide his antics better. But be off have fun all!
Well the oldest is seventeen now and a great little girl he is dating. Similar rules from parents and it is working well. He is serious looking at search and rescue as his future here in Canada. If any have knowledge how best to start that career please post in my intro would love to hear from you. I am pushing him to get certified in scuba and start towards his dive master. His now a certified life guard.
My bathroom reno is coming to a close and will post pics when done. Next will be a pill box for my outdoor tools.
