GEORGETOWN, Guyana (GINA) -- Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has offered to augment the shipments of oil to Guyana from 5,000 barrels a day, as currently obtains under the current PetroCaribe programme to 10,000 barrels. His promise was made while in discussions with President Bharrat Jagdeo.
