Gameboy Advance Sp

I have played this cool gaming system called "Gameboy Advance SP", to play this gaming device, you will need a small thing called "Gameboy Paks" to use and play what it says there, so if the Gameboy Pak says "Pokemon Blue" put the Pak in the Gameboy and turn it on, and there you go! The gameboy plays the game! Does anyone here have a device like this?

I used to have one of those. Unfortunately in China it is hard and expensive to buy legal game packs, so we had to copy illegal Gameboy Roms onto a special cartridge. This came with its own problems. Games like Pokemon often won't save on to the illegal cartridge, so it wasn't that fun.

I want to get on my soap-opera box here: I try to buy most of my games and software legally now, to better support the developers.

What game-boy paks did you have, Corsava? I find each game in the game-boy system is great! I have always loved it! smile.gif

Umm....

My two legal game paks were Pokemon Leaf Green and a 7 in 1 Game Boy Color Combo game pack, filled with minigames.

I used to like the Pokemon games when I was younger.

I like those Pokemon games for GBC, but what is the only thing what sucks about them is that you can create glitches so easily when you play any Pokemon game! undecided.gif

You could put a review here about Pokemon Leaf green if you want to: Source 7

Felipe,

What do you mean when you say that Pokemon games glich often? I've never had any problems with Pokemon Ruby/Saphire/Emerald.

Glitches is like messing up the game by doing strange actions on the games, like for instance Pokemon Blue GBC, I can cause a glitch by making my character do this for instance....

1. The walk though walls glitch! In Pokemon blue, you need to go to Fussia city, than go after the security guard and you are on a field of grass, there you will put poison on one of your Pokemon, than you go to the safari zone and pay before you go inside, after you have payed you so back, one of the cashiers will say something like, "Going out early?" you select no, and you do this twice of the same actions again, than you stop doing that and press the menu, and you have 500 steps to go, waste all of them until you have 20 steps to go and you have to be right at the starting line as before, make sure your poisoned Pokemon is at health point is at 21. After that, if one of your Pokemon knows the ability "Fly", than make that Pokemon go back to the Pokemon center by pressing the city that you are in, than you are at the Pokemon center and jump to a fence for your last step for the safari zone far away! And you noticed that you are levitating! And you will see this talk bubble say "Time's up!" and you are back right at the safari zone! And walk one more step and your last Pokemon faints! Than you faint too, of course! Than there you go! Your you walk though any building!

See Corsava? Those are very strange actions and the first example is called a "Glitch" and the word glitch in games is not all about actions, but also means messing up stuff inside the game, (which I always like to do with my Gameboy paks.)

2. The missingno Pokemon Glitch! This is REALLY simple! First, make your Pokemon that knows fly and go all the way to the city after pallet town, than you talk to the old man and after that you say yes and he will you his example of how catching a Pokemon, after that you fly to cinnabar island or fussia city, than swim to the caves after fussia city, but before you land at the ground, you will see these circles, and you go up and down on them, than you encounter a missingno! The Pokemon is the strongest in the Pokemon world in Pokemon Blue! The level of this Pokemon is level 250 or more! shocked.gif' /> Capture it with a master ball and your Pokemon is yours!

This can work with Pokemon blue and may work with Pokemon Ruby/Saphire/Emerald, etc.

Corsava, glitching Pokemon leaf green or Ruby, Saphire, Emerald, etc. Is very hard Because the company that made Pokemon is also the creator of these games too, so the company can recognize these glitches back in Pokemon Blue or red, and the creators try to make sure to not allow people glitching when they are creating more Pokemon games for Gameboy GBC, but some people already know how to glitch Pokemon Ruby/Saphire/Emerald! I don't play these games so I can't figure out glitches there though. You can glitch your Pokemon glitch too! But that requires a good plan for getting cool tricks.

<img src= Edited: Felipe on 5th Oct, 2012 - 7:18pm

Thanks for your explanation, Felipe!

Personally, I've never played the older Pokemon games. I've only played the third generation ones: Ruby/Saphire, and Leaf Green/ Fire Red, and the fourth generation ones.

I've only seen a glitch once. Me and my friend were playing Pokemon Saphire, and we saw a Missingno. We made the stupid mistake of trying to catch it, because when you do, it corrupts the save file. We had to start over again sad.gif
