Now as the title says, "Almost Russian!" I am modifying this recipe to make it easier for lazy people like me to make these wonderful tasting delights"¦ I call them fried meat pies and they can also be made with cabbage, cheese and many other ingredients. Kartoflyanki a little potato ball that is covered with fried onions, also many use a creamy sauce and smother them like with a gravy (Sorta like Swedish meatballs!). They are easy to make and everyone will love them, whether you eat them smothered or just pop one in your mouth and munch… So how about a different way to serve those potatoes?
