In Game: Felipe goes and sits down and he will eat some of the cheese, try a piece of the chocolate, eat some of the bread too while he is eating, he thought to himself, "hmm, I wonder what this box will trade for the dry meat".

Izumi answers Alexander, "I don't think we can try that. This box seems to give something randomly to us. So it would be a factor of luck that we'd get something we were wanting right at that moment."

Izumi starts to gather her things back up and refit her belongings to her belt. She asks, "Anyone want me to 'exchange' something else before I put it away?"

Alexander looks away from the books to respond to Izumi, "I keep wondering what would happen if I put my medallion in the box. When you put something in, it spits something out of equal value, right? Or does it just exchange items based on weight and mass?"

Izumi replies to Alexander, "I think it goes by weight and size, not value. Here, lemme try something."

Izumi goes into a belt pouch and retrieves a Copper coin. She puts the coin into the box and goes through the 'Exchange' steps.

As she does this, she adds, "I wouldn't try putting that medallion in it on the off chance it has some magic from the Gods connected to it. We don't want to all get blown to the corners, do we?

Alexander shakes his head, "You're right, of course...I suppose it's more likely to explode than spit out a different magical artifact. Or it would probably just give me something worthless back, and I would lose something obviously magical..."

In game:
As the group read's themselves to move on, everyone slowly standing and gathering there items about them.

Matt hands Haru 2 more spears saying.
"Throw the fist and the secant, then hold on to the last one to stab or defend with." He then looks around as the others, "Who has Rudiger's blade, not the magic one but his small dagger. That might be something handy for Haru to use.

On Izumis last use of the box the coper coin is exchanged for 6 acorns.

Haru thanks Matt for the added artillery.

The group considers the fact they will be facing spiders, possibly fairly soon in fact. The wish for armor and shields is heavy on the minds of the party. A small box can only exchange so much to add useful supply in a random way. The only hope is that they press forward, in the grim hope of discovering more dead body's with larger and ever presses and rare supply.

The fact they much hope for death of others that came before them to offer aid to there chances seems a bit morbid to some and a simplicity of finders keepers to others.

Out of game:
The group has been down here for ruffly 6 hours. Time is a bit fuzzy, as there's no way to tell it. But, you feel like the group has taken about that long, this little brake was the groups fist meal since the cray food served in the cells. It was also a welcome brake on feet that spent most of the last 4 hours walking an endless hallway.
