In Game: Felipe says to Alexander with a smile, "Thanks for your compliment, I will stay with the party until we all get out of this strange place, let me see what I can find here..." Felipe searches the pile of corpses to see if he finds anything good to use for him.

Search roll result: 21 - (21 + 2 = 23)

Game Main RPG Dragons and Dungeons

You search the pile and find the same items.

3 sets of cut up and bloody clothing
3 belts
2 sets of boots and socks
2 cloth sacks with string
2 pieces of cloth (rags)

4 days worth of blood covered rations that are tainted (purify food spell would fix them to be clean and edible again.)

Notes:
The blood also ruined all the chalk you find (4 broken hales).
And, one of the boots pairs was taken thus there are 2 sets left not 3.

In Game: Looking at the new items that Felipe have founded, he noticed that some of the items like the food and the 4 rations are covered with blood, Felipe says to Alexander, "What we will do with these two items? The 4 rations and the clothing is covered with blood, the clothing can be thrown away, but the rations, can they be purified?"

Matt walks up to where Haru, Elrik, Alexander, and Felipe have gathered near the pile of bodies.

Matt respectfully begins to undress the body's. As he works to removed the belts and garments worth salving he says. "They are indeed blood covered but I am starting to think everything can be put to use down here. Even bloody clothing at some point might be cleaned and will work as spares or even beading a pillow or a blanket, heck a shirt can be tied off easily to make a fairly good shoulder pack."

He give s a small smile as if lost in a memory or thought. "My old captain... She had some hell of a Survival training test for me when I was a boy, ingenuity was the key to passing it and I think that concept will do us well down here."

He rolls up the bloody clothing, bundling it with one belt to make a pack much like a bedroll rolled up and tightly synched. Using another 2 belts make a sling he trows it over his shoulder letting it rest on him like a Courier's pack. Handing the rest of the boots off to Haru. "What you can't use tie the laces together and take with us. If nothing better they can be used to throw in to a room to check for traps. Better to loss a boot then a foot or worse."

Matt looks over at Felipe. 'Good thinking on the food, Elirk is busy putting Krusten..." He stops for a moment before going on. "He is laying her to rest, well what rest we can offer down here." He looks over at Felipe. "Gather the tainted food in the sacks and he can purify it later do you mind carrying it till he gets a chance Felipe?"
Glancing at Alexander "You where splendid in battle. I saw you blade glow with skill that is one hell of a gift the gods gave you."

Haru takes the boots and after finding a boot to fit his foot he ties the remaining 2 and a half sets together by the laces and then ties them to his belt.

Elrik takes all of Krusten's items into his sack. He slides the Ring of swimming on his finger remembering that there is water up ahead.

He says a prayer over her body and thanks her for helping the group get this far and letting us use her items to go the rest of the way.

"I hate spiders. I hate to say that about creatures of nature. But my parents would tell me horrible stories of half drow and half spider monsters when I was small. I would prefer not to loss anymore friends lets be careful."

Specific Action:: Elrik touches his flame chain against the webs on the wall when he sees them to clear them. This will help light the way when the glowing stones can be seen.

As Matt heads back over to Izumi to see if she needs any help carrying any of the things she has butchered from the large spider before the group moves on, he taps Elrik on the shoulder directing him over to see Felipe a bout petrifying the bloodied food.

Alexander sits next to the pile of bodies. "I'm not sure, Felipe, maybe Elrik can..." He notices Elrik tending Krusten, " Well, we can ask when he's done."

Alexander looks at Matt shrewdly after his compliment, "I am grateful for this sword, but it was not this sword or my skill that won the battle, it was all of us, working together. Group tactics will serve us well down here." He hesitates, "I think we should be moving on now. Elrik, will you take point with me? You can burn these webs as we go. " Alexander thinks for a moment,then says, "Our flanks need to be strengthened, also. We can't afford another loss like Krusten, may she rest in peace. Maybe Izumi and Felipe would be willing to act as rear guards ?" He looks questioningly at the party.

(Out of Character: Really going to have to think about it next time I'm asked to watch my 6 year old nephew and his two friends for a day and night. I really don't like getting covered with rotten milk right after I washed my hair. I grew up with two older brothers and they never did something that mean.)

Izumi asks the others over at the bodies, "Is there any bags or belts that can be used for the carapace pieces I've recovered or any of the spider meat I've gathered?"
