Combat: Round 3 ends.
All the visible spiders are dead except the big one with Izumis arm in its mouth.

Combat:Round 4.
Izumi and Felipe both take 2 damage from the poison.
Felipe Initiative = 24 (11 of 22 HP) Poisoned
Izumi Initiative = 18 (19 of 28 HP) Poisoned

The last spider up within sight of the group #5 dies with a blow from Izumis blade.
The last small spider makes a clean getaway escaping down and deep into the webs of the side path.

Combat is over! ~At least for now.

Out of Game:
Izumi and Felipe please make Fortitude saves to see, if in the after combat cool down, if the poison stops dealing them damage as their Adrenaline wears off from the fight.
We are now outside combat so feel free to interact, search, and loot - take actions and so on without restriction.

In Game:
With the fighting over, Praos starts to pick up the glowing stones and hand them out to everyone so that the group has a light they can search with if they want or need one.

Haru the Half-Orc teenager comes down off the steps and runs up to his mother "Mom are you okay!?" He asks rather worried about her.

Matt walks over to greet the stranger. With an out stretched hand he asks Yeath. "Are you alright friend?" Shaking the mans hand if he allows. Then introducing himself he says, "My names Matthias, most people call me Matt. From the sight of your bow I'm guessing you were thrown down here for something you did not do as well?"
He smiles "Guess it really does not matter. Welcome to the group!" He adds not really giving you a chance to answer his original question. Matt is a Half-Elf but his lavender eyes and silvery hair despite having tan skin makes him look as if he might be half Drow.

Yaeth will shake the hand of Matt and say yeah I am down here for some reason but I have yet to understand why or where I am. This bow is one I arrived here with and thus far it is a nice bow and one that I hope to keep.

Out of Game: Yaeth will take one of the stones it he is offered one and search the room for any treasure, weapons, armor, and hidden or secret doors or cubby holes. Spot check rolled 13 +4 for spot = 17.
Search check rolled 12 + 4 = 16.

Yaeth is handed one of the glowing chunks of ore. It only gives off the same amount of light a candle would but this is still a light and will allow you to search the cave.

Matt nods to Yaeth ad also takes a stone and starts to search the room.

When Praos is done handing the stones out to anyone that needs one, he hands the extras back to who threw them. He then also starts to search the cave by the soft pale glow of the blue ore.

The soft blue light shows the cave to be heavily covered in webs. Its hard to move in some places with boots sticking to the floor and taking effort to pull free and continue.

Haru takes his stone and slips the lanyard back over his wrist. The glowing stone lands under his hand. "Let us get out of this place. There could be more and the sooner we get away from the spiders the better I think we will all be."

He points toward the steps down. "When I was down here the last time I swear I could hear the sound of running water coming from that direction."

Out of Game: Haru seems to be wanting to get out of here soon but Yaeth will continue to search the room until it all has been searched as to not leave a possible useful item behind. Yaeth will even search the spiders. If any spider eggs are found he will smash them to prevent more spiders from hatching.

Yaeth:
The room is full of webs and while there are tons of small tiny normal sized spiders skittering about. With the light there are no eggs to be found in this room of the cave.

As you search you do find some things.
1 broken dagger - old and slightly rusted.
3 gold coins and 2 sliver ones.
A metal spoon.
And, a dented but good small light shield made of steel!
It was half buried in dirt and rock but the webs covered it completely too. You were lucky to find it and likely would not of had you not stepped on it by accident and could feel the difference in the terrain under foot.

(Out of Character: Fortitude Save 18+5=23)

After her last strike and the spider lets her arm go as it dies, Izumi keeps poking holes into the creature as her adrenaline begins to wain. Finally, with the wound and poison coursing through her, she stops and leans against the monsters body.

Hearing her childs query, she responds with, "Not really, dear. I've been munched a bit, and poisoned, by this...this..." Izumi suddenly raises her sword with two hands above her and slashes down to behead the beast that dared hurt her. "..But I feel better now."

She looks at her son, and asks, "Would you be so good as to call Elrik over? He can perhaps heal my arm some."

Out of Game:
You make your fortitude save and won't be taking more damage from the poison.

In Game:
Haru looks over at Elrik and nods at his mothers request. Taking leave and walking over to see him.
Haru walks up to the three men standing together. Respectfully interjecting if Alexander, Felipe, and Elrik are conversing, or distracted, or in the course of undertaking any tasks such as searching or healing. "Elrik, my mother needs some healing. She asked if you could come help her."

Matt bends over picking something up by one of the walls then walks over and stands near Alexander waiting for the teen to be done talking to the group before asking, "Alexander, look at this. What do you make of it?" He hands a small item to the man. It is a small brass broach of a circle with an hourglass. Inset into the hourglass is a small red gem. The small pendant is not a holy symbol, but it is clearly the symbol of Meara. Perhaps a magic item, or just something fancy?

Attached to the back of the broach is a small scrap of cloth, a red spiders silk fabric.

Praos looks around finding nothing of value. As he searches, he nods at Yaeth without a greeting or introduction, yet still relaying a "Welcome to the group" mannerism of body language coupled by a flash of a forced smile.

He recovers Izumis spear and brings it to her. "I too, think we should keep moving. The book said spiders, then water, then.... Black water, we have to be careful. The warning about the water was that we should take to it to flee the spiders but beware of black water. I think the book suggested there was a monster in it, and our group is in no shape to take on yet another fight." He takes a breath calming himself, and goes on to add. "Yes, it's important to search and gather supplies, but I have a bad feeling if we stay here too long, there will be more spiders."

Yaeth will pocket the coins and the spoon, he will place the dagger behind his belt in case it is needed. He will carry the shield over to the group to see who can use this. Using a bow he is not able to equip a shield and still be able to shoot a bow.
