Case Murder Alexander Travis

An Arizona judge sentenced Jodi Arias today to life in prison for the 2008 murder of her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander.

Arias, whose trial attracted nationwide attention for its salacious details, was found guilty in May 2013 of killing Alexander five years earlier.

Since two separate juries were deadlocked in the penalty phase of Arias' case, the death penalty was taken off the table, leaving her sentence up to the judge.
