Medieval RPG: To Catch A Thief - Page 6

The Game Master says...

Feeling both charitable and virtuous you make a pact to give the gold to the poor and needy you meet in the future, and you will meet them, when you return to the Village.

Knight, Horde and yourselves carefully leave the cave from the entrance from which you came in. On the outside it is dark and you look forward to getting a good night's rest. Knight beckons for you to move quickly south and he starts to gallop on a fine looking horse. You also have riding horses and as you are about half a mile from the cave you hear an amazingly loud rumble and then a slight shake of the ground.

At this time Knight and Horde look at each other and then continue to ride. You wonder what that was all about, but eventually forget about it after all that you have been through. You arrive at the Village safely and part ways after Knight tells you he will meet with you in the morning at the Elders Counsel chamber if you come at first rise of the sun.

The End

GM's Review: You all did 'okay', I think were it not for Horde and Knight all the group would have died. Such help is not normally available, but since everyone was more or less new or died in the past I thought they would be a good additive to the story and for tips. Now about your actual play. There were lots of 'helps' for you, in fact, if you had planned well you could of actually cleaned out the cave with very little fighting. Moving as a group for every little thing makes you too noticeable. I think there was not enough in depth reading of the storyline. Many times clues were given that you did not follow. You also never chose to search your area very well or investigate certain items that may have given you more info about where you are located. There was about 3000 gps that you missed out on had you been more curious about your surroundings, but perhaps the idea that curiosity killed the cat deterred you? I can't blame you if that is the case. Best wishes on the next adventure.
