A World Without Laws. - Page 2

I think ultimately, many criminals would stop committing the crimes. Most people commit crimes because of the feeling they get from doing it. Thieves steal because they are getting a rush from getting away with a crime. But some crimes are crimes of passion and power, those wouldn't be affected because the laws don't come into play in there committing.

I believe some crimes would increase such as murder and rape because they are about power. If there is no punishment to dissuade people, some will commit those crimes because they have always wanted to but couldn't because of the consequences.

Violent crimes would increase because some groups would take enforcing law into their own hands and increase the assaults on people.

People are not general good or bad. People are generally self serving, people are prone to do things that will help themselves above all others. I only see this as different in the case of mother and child. Mothers tend to look after the well being of their children, typically, not all the time, above and beyond their own well fare.
