To Post Or Not To Post

To Post or Not To Post
That is the question...

First of all to post here you must have fulfilled three specific requirements:

1. You must be a Member of the Community (you will need 20FP to start, so make sure you save your FP and do go spending it on Arcade games).

2. You must have qualified in Plugged RPG (after you create your character you will be given three tests to see if you can handle the Matrix). Use the link above that says "Get-Plugged In".

3. You must have your own thread (as you progress this will be given to you)

DO NOT POST anywhere in this board if you have not done any of the above. Better yet, you will not even be able to if you do not have Plus access.

Yes, I Have Done 1-3

If you have qualified and started your own thread then you must now look for a thread labeled with the starting word: 'Mission:' and subtitle: 'Participation Zion Rank:'. When you find one open it and look for the requirements. Some missions require that you have attained a certain rank or had special training. If you think that your character meets the requirements of that mission then proceed to find a thread with the same name but whose subtitle is: 'Briefing Room (Player Discussion)'. In this thread you meet with other players and discuss the mission, your rank, etc.

Sharing Logs?

A player's log is theirs and theirs ALONE. Don't try to communicate with a player by posting in their log. If you want to say something to a player in private then use the PM or Email system.

Ready for Game Play

When you have arrived at a certain point within the game it will be time to select a leader. Based on the rules this may be an automatic process depending on the highest Zion Rank of the players involved. After the leader is known / chosen they then proceed to the Decision Chamber thread for the current mission.

If you are familiar with Medieval or Future Earth you will know how the Decision Chamber operates. Basically the leader enters within this thread the decision of the group. If you are unfamiliar then you may want to read the Party Order Threads within the Medieval Board to see how they are assembled. You may also like to see the tips below.

As the leader you need to post the needful and not frivolous information. For instance, if you want to enter a room then state that character 'x' will enter the room. You cannot state character 'x' enters the room and talks to 'x' person and then sees 'y' so he takes 'y'. This will not work because you cannot tell what is in the room and if 'y' is even there unless the GM tells you such.

The GM does not need to know what each character is thinking or says unless he specifically talking to someone within the story. The GM is not interested in Decision Room small talk... The GM wants the exact actions your character takes for the story to progress.
