I was reading in People's magazine that Tom and his wife Katie Holmes decided to homeschool their daughter Suri (4). She has a private teacher that is with her every day and they like the one on one approach to education.

Home schooling a child of a widely known actor or actress is probably the safest way to go about it. I am sure that the cameras and other possible no good people would want to get a picture or their hands on the child as a way to profit from that.

It seems like Tom and his wife Katie Holmes decided not to attend this year's Oscar because the host will be Anne Hathaway. Apparently, they were very close friends and Tom and Katie took Anne to a Tina Turner concert to cheer her up when she broke up with her boyfriend. However, Anna appeared on national TV and in one of those night shows imitated Katie Holmes by making long pauses and breathing funny.
