"I think a long trip awaits us. It's not wise to travel with an empty stomach. We should definitely have a good breakfast before heading towards the village."
In the morning, we eat and drink some water. We gather up Kron's body, put it on his horse, and head back to the village.
We are earnestly looking for water for the horses as we travel.
When we get to the village, we will turn Kron's body over to his next of kin, along with all his possessions.

OK, we look for Kron's horse, and search the body to see if we can tell, now that it is light out, what happened to him. If we don't have his horse, we will place the body on Joe's horse, then walk the horses as we head back to town.
