The post date is from 05' but its all news to me. Can you imagine what the neighbours must have felt? I wonder if they fell the tree after.

Any way you look at it halloween is not that bad of a holiday. With its roots in history and the fact that it is a day that kids and adults can dress up and have fun can make it a good day. The fact that you have a few who try year after year to make a nice holiday something evil. The fact that over time they seem to be succeeding makes it a problem that society needs to put the brakes on. The fact that society is sinking deeper into a cesspool makes this something that is not likely to happen.

We had a person put a mannequin hanging in a tree up for halloween. They were made to take it down withing 4 hours as the police kept getting 911 calls from passerbys. This was on a back barely traveled street. I guess people are more observant around here.

That is creepy but I can see how passers by might have mistaken it for a Halloween decor dummy because some yard decorations can be very elaborate.

Words like "Creepy", "Scary", and "Horrifying" can be used to describe this but really its very sad that someone would choose to end their life this way and under these circumstances.
