There's no place to plug in your iPod. The tailgate handle is on the right side even though the gate opens straight up. The engine uses more fuel than it should. The newly optional third-row seat is pretty tight. And if you want the fanciest version, the 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe is an overpriced $30,000-plus.

I am in the market for a new car next year, one that can seat five, and this was one of the ones I looked into. I really don't like it and crossed it off our list. It is way to pricy and just doesn't offer the real space that a larger family needs. It trys to act like it has tons of space until you go out and see it. It has very little storage space behind the third seat and not much room for legs for those sitting in it. If you want a good car for a larger family, try Saturn, they are cheaper with better SUV's that have more storage room, more leg room and better fuel efficiency by far.
