The only reason he got something here was because Bill said a few things that the black folk did not like so they all decided to gang up on the white man.

Bill? Bill Clinton? What did he say that would turn all the votes for Barack Obama?

Barack Obama History & Civil Business Politics

Bill has actually opened his mouth a bit too much recently and is being advised by many to cool it as it is quite possibly costing his wife votes. Basically, it is Bill's very negative attacks on Obama. This is not to say that Obama hasn't challenged Hillary's record, but he is not distorting the truth when he does it. It is like back when he was questioned about Monica a few years back and had to have the definition of 'IS" explained to him. Bill has picked on Obama's claim that he was never in favor of the war (calling it a fairy tail and saying that he basically voted exactly as Hillary did...which is not true as he actually did vote initially against the war in Iraq) and that his stance on abortion is not clear because of his voting record (he voted that he was present for several votes that had to do with partial birth abortions and such things), so he really was distorting the truth.

More bad new for Hillary (and Bill) but great if you are a Obama Fan...seems like his fan base is growing...officially.

Looks like the Kennedy's are taken with Obama and see him in a similar light as the famous duo of JFK and Bobby. This is quite a shot to the Clinton Campaign. However, she does continue to hold a lead in the main states up for grabs on the Super Tuesday primaries. It will be interesting to see if the gaps in the polls close in the next couple of days.

Rather off topic, but...
If Hillary does take the Presidency, I wouldnt want to be Kennedy looking for any favors from that WhiteHouse!

Barack Obama got tons of votes in SC DESPITE what Bill Clinton said. That should say something. I hope we do have a black president. It will go a long ways towards getting rid of those white supremacist racist yahoo's! When the rest of the country simply tells them to shut up, we are moving forward.

Camelot's Endorsement

Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama received a key endorsement today from the standard-bearer of the Kennedy clan -- Sen. Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts. He announced his official backing of Obama during a campaign rally this afternoon at American University, where he appeared alongside family members Rep. Patrick Kennedy of Rhode Island and Caroline Kennedy. How much will the Kennedy political muscle shape the Democratic race?

In January he Obama rasied US$32 million in just one month. He seems to have a lot of staying power, but if I were voting I would be turned off by this:

Barack Obama Celebrates Abortion, Warns Supreme Court Could Reverse Roe

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama celebrated Roe v. Wade on Tuesday as hundreds of thousands of pro-life advocates came to the nation's capital to condemn it. Obama said he's worried the Supreme Court is just one vote away from overturning the infamous ruling that allowed virtually unlimited abortions. "Thirty-five years after the Supreme Court decided Roe v. Wade, it's never been more important to protect," legalized abortions. Obama said the Supreme Court's 5-4 decision last April in upholding the national ban on partial-birth abortions could be a harbinger of things to come. "With one more vacancy on the Supreme Court, we could be looking at a majority hostile to a women's fundamental right to choose for the first time since Roe v. Wade," Obama said. "The next president may be asked to nominate that Supreme Court justice. That is what is at stake in this election," he added.

I've been so out of touch with the news for the past week, I hadn't read that about Barack's stand on abortion. Another reason not to vote for him.
