Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Why 120 Days per game?

A. Germany 1939 starts slow and is meant to be just like WWII where it lasted many years and built up. Using 120 Days and the current features will force you to come up with a unique strategy.

Q. How do I attack?
A. You must first find other players within your location. You can find them via the 'Play' link when you login or via 'Ruler Location' in Home Menu. Then choose a player where you will be taken to their profile. In the profile is an option tp 'Attack', click on that and begin.

Q. All I see is 'Out of Range' with no option for Attack?
A. A player must be at least within 'x' the worth of your kingdom in order to attack you. Only when you are in this worth range can you attack.

Alliance

Joining or creating an Alliance can have mutual benefits, but there is a price: tax!

Now there are two options to Alliance:

1. Creating an Alliance - where you decide the tax rate, symbol, etc.

2. Joining an Alliance - where you are invited to participate in an existing Alliance created by another player.

Creating an Alliance

1. To create an Alliance go to the main Menu and then click on "Find Alliance".
2. There is a field and button to create your Alliance. Enter a name for your Alliance and then click the "Create" button.
3. You will then be shown a page where you have stats and options (link), use these to establish your symbol, tax and invite other players.

Inviting Players

1. Find the player name you wish to add to your Aliance and enter it in the field under "Options" (this is the same options link described above).
2. The player will then get a notification that you have invited them.

Accepting an Invite to Join an Alliance

1. Usually at the top of every page you will get a message saying that someone has invited you to an Alliance.
2. You can click this message OR you can go to the Main Menu and then select the link "Messages" --> "Invites"
3. You will then see the Invites you have received. Click "Accept" for the one you wish to join.
4. You will then be taken to that Alliance where a check is mae to see if your invite is still valid, if it is then you will see a link called, "Click Here to Join 'x'", click that link and you will see your name appear as part of the Alliance.

Discussing As An Alliance

You are encouraged to start a Thread about your Alliance where other players who have accepted your invite can Discuss strategies, etc.

Rules and Faq Germany

Q. Why can't I adjust payout?
A. You are not a 'King' or 'Emperor' in this game, but a leader of the country, some things are handled by others, so in this game there is no payout arrangement.

Q. I make such little credit at the beginning and my troops are starving, what do I do?
A. You need to utilize 'Production' and 'Worker Morale', both of which will initially give you more than exploring would. This keeps in the reality concept that you do not just start attacking or exploring right away, but start a troop build up.

Q. How come I start out with such a little amount of credits and turns?
A. That is the unique part of this game, everyone struggles in the beginning and they really have to manage their country correctly if they are to reach near any kind of fighting ability.

Q. Can I attack Countries which were allies during WW II?
A. No. You cannot get USA to attack UK, if you try you will get messages asking what is up with you. In this case if there are no countries that are part of the Axis for which you can attack then remember the game will be based on worth plus you can still be attacked by the enemy while exploring.

Germany 1939 Faq & Rules Post Play & MMORPG RPG Text

Q. Why do soldiers cost so little?
A. Essentially you are paying for their immediate equipment mostly and nothing more. Do not be fooled by the large amount you can buy though because they can become a burden when it is time to give them ammo and feed them.

Q. How can I get more turns before the ten minutes?
A. There is an option to donate. When you donate you get a reserve of turns PLUS a higher turn rate than other players.

Q. How come someone is defeated and then suddenly rises up with an army so quickly?
A. It is likely they had a hidden stash of credit kept somewhere or sold surplus equipment to raise an army. However, if you look at the number of workers they have it is often very little as workers cannot be 'bought'.
