Putin allows breakaway Georgian region's troops to join Russian army: RIA;
President Vladimir Putin has approved a decree allowing some troops from Georgia's breakaway region of South Ossetia to be incorporated into the Russian army, the RIA news agency reported on Tuesday. Ref. Source 8t.
Ouch, this is a slap in the face of Georgia. They will not like this move at all and it is typical Putin. He rules with bravado, and that is just what Russians like.
