Outside Observers For This Election

Do we need outside observers for this election? There have been calls for this lately. Is this a necessity or an election gimmick by opposition parties?

Election This Observers Outside

We already have an Election Thread going, but I will entertain this one so long as it deals with the specifics of outside observation. I will say it is a good thing and beneficial not only to the people (knowledge that their vote is counted accurately), the Opposition (they know it is fair), but the PNM too (they cannot be accused of illegal activity), that is why Manning was so quick to ensure that other Caribbean States would be involved.

I second above plus will say that even observers can be bribed too so you know, we just have to hope it is all done the way it is suppose to be done.
