I think it's really funny that she's even *on* Dancing With the Stars. She *can't dance* to save her life - no grace, no rhythm, and she's trying to tell the professional dancer who is trying to teach her that HE can't dance. What a ridiculous person! I feel so sorry for those kids to have such a mother.

Phew! Those who voted in Dancing with the Stars definetely were merciful towards us who watch the show and have seen Kate Gosselin just literally walking on the dance floor (no, I am not exaggerating). To be honest with you, I think she really, really needs to stop thinking about herself and try to be a mom.
Now, before everyone get mad at me it is obvious she needs to provide for her kids, etc but the way she put it AND compares to other single moms is almost comical. Most single moms do not have to pay a mortgage of a million dollar house. They do not have the luxury of spending almost US$10,000 in a haircut or send 8 kids to a private school.
It is sad when she says:

Little spots? Does she even have THAT time? She was dancing for almost 8 hours a day for Dancing with the Stars, then she works on her own shows as well as TRAVEL around the US for book signings. These kids are being raised by BABYSITTERS! I feel so sorry for those kids who have both parents, yet these parents seem to be so self-absorbed that they are willing to use them as an excuse for their own agendas and need of worldly praise and approval.

You expect her to stay at home on only $300k per year child support? $300k doesnt go as far as it used to in todays world. She might have to clean the toil..oh perish the thought!
She can keep diluding herself in that she has to keep chasing the spotlight and mug for every camera she can get to focus on her, but the fact is that she and he made enough in their short time in the spotlight to live on forever in a regular lifestyle. The lifestyle she has now accustomed herself to does require a LOT of cash, so she better be making the money and milking all that child support for all it is worth.
However, she is doing it all for her. The private school for the kids is for her. The nannies are for her. The hair styling is for her. The massive house that she honestly cannot afford is for her. The car is for her. She was forced to dance in front of national television...not...it was for her ego.
The truth is that she could stay at home now with the money she has made if they lived in a more modest house and the kids went to public school. If she can keep it up and continue to draw this outrageous check for no talent other than producing and pimping her offspring, then more power to her. But I do hope that the American Television Viewer is not that starved for entertainment...

Well, I wonder what Kate will say with regards to what her former dancers in Dancing with the Stars said about her.

I thought her house was paid for so that she did not have a mortgage. I thought that the kids going to a private school was a donation by that school there is no tuition. The nannies were given to the kids to help the parents for a given time so they do not have to pay for that. I believe all the money she is getting in child support is going to her lifestyle and that is sad. I am glad she was kicked off the show and I hope that is the last we hear from or about her.

Well, she is back with Kate Plus 8 and for what I read so far, the show is LESS about the kids and MORE about her. I know Vincenzo is paying big bucks to ensure he has the channel available where he is.
